Truly one of the world’s most influential chefs, Jean-Georges Vongerichten oversees a world-wide restaurant empire and possesses numerous awards and accolades. Yet the first time I worked with him on a photo shoot at one of his fashionable restaurants in downtown Manhattan, he couldn’t be more gracious. The resulting visuals so perfectly captured his superb Asian-inflected French cuisine that Vongerichten asked me to art direct his idea for an upcoming cookbook, Home Cooking with Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
